The Future Automation Research Lab studies and designs human interaction with autonomous systems. The research group features multi-disciplinary collaboration aimed at an empirical and human-centric understanding of social interaction. Our research team specializes in design research, simulation studies, interactive prototyping, active data collection, and interaction intelligence.

Natalie Friedman is an Information Science PhD candidate at Cornell University.
Her primary interests are Human-Robot Interaction (motion, telepresence, and mobility) and assistive technology.
